Publication history
The volt first appeared in White Dwarf #7 (June 1978). The volt appeared in the original first edition Fiend Folio (1981). In White Dwarf #15 readers were asked to vote for their top ten "Fiend Factory" monsters. The top ten, including the volt, were later reprinted in Best of White Dwarf Articles (1980).
The volt appeared in second edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons in the Monstrous Compendium Fiend Folio Appendix (1992).
Description
A volt is a small animal with the ability to shock other creatures.
