Volodymyr Kozhukhar (born 1941) is a Ukrainian conductor, born in Vinnytsia. A graduate of the Lysenko music school, he began conducting the State Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine in 1964. and became its Chief Conductor in 1967. He conducted the Kiev Opera and Ballet Theatre from 1973 to 1977, then became Chief Conductor of the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre. In 1989, he became Chief Conductor of the National Opera of Ukraine in Kiev. He taught at the Gnesin Music and Pedagogy Institute in Moscow from 1978 to 1988, and has taught at the National Music Academy of Ukraine since 1993.
