Volchikhinsky District (Russian: Во́лчихинский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the krai. The area of the district is 3,593.7 square kilometers (1,387.5 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Volchikha. Population: 19,703 (2010 Census); 22,345 (2002 Census); 22,034 (1989 Census). The population of Volchikha accounts for 52.8% of the district's total population.
