Visceralmedia Records is an experimental, new music label started in 2010 and run by John Latartara, Khristian Weeks, and Michael Gardiner. The purpose of the label is to help produce and promote new music that is viscerally exciting and challenging to experience. Visceralmedia Records is not genre specific and, in fact, actively seeks to promote music that defies simplistic categorizations such as "drone", "noise", or "ambient" music. Artists that have appeared on the label include Andrew Weather, Caroline Park, Lost Trail, Michael Gardiner, Khristian Weeks, and John Latartara. Visceralmedia records has a Youtube, Vimeo, Soundcloud, and Facebook page where video interviews with vmr artists are posted.

In addition to releases, Visceralmedia Records hosts a new music festival every year in Oxford, Mississippi. The festival occurs every summer and is a day-long concert of new music including vmr artists as well as invited guests.
