Visa requirements for Panamanian citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Panama. As of 1 January 2017, Panamanian citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 127 countries and territories, ranking the Panamanian passport 36th in terms of travel freedom (tied with Macao, Saint Lucian and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines passports) according to the Henley visa restrictions index and 8th in Latin America, passed only by Chile (19th), Brazil (21st), Argentina (22nd), Mexico (28th), Uruguay (29th), Venezuela (32nd), and Costa Rica (33rd).
