Visa requirements for Iranian citizens are administrative entry restrictions imposed on citizens of Iran by the authorities of other states. As of 1 January 2017, Iranian citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 38 countries and territories, ranking the Iranian passport 95th in terms of travel freedom (tied with Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan passports) according to the Henley visa restrictions index.
