The Violin Concerto is a composition for violin and orchestra by the composer Bernard Tan. It was commissioned by the Singaporean violinist Lynnette Seah and was premiered on 7 January 2006 by Seah and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra conducted by Lan Shui. The soloist received the score only two months before the premiere.

Dedicated to Lynnette Seah, this typical concerto has three movements, which are:

  • I. Allegro
  • II. Andantino
  • III. Vivace
  • The duration of this concerto is around 25 minutes.
