Vimovo is a pain reliever in the form of a tablet for oral consumption, with delayed release of esomeprazole magnesium and naproxen, produced by AstraZeneca.
Vimovo is FDA approved for use for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
It is intended to decrease the risk of gastric ulcers from treatment with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
