About
Having achieved success as a Hollywood makeup artist and cosmetics entrepreneur, Victoria Jackson prefers to think of herself as “a goodwill ambassador for makeup.” When women embrace self-confidence, she says, they learn the key to success, and liking who they see in the mirror is a powerful first step in that transformative process. “My personal philosophy has always been, ‘When you look better, you feel better. And when you feel better, you can change your life,’” says Jackson, who has volunteered at women’s correctional facilities and hospitals.
Jackson has also reached thousands of women through her two bestselling books: Redefining Beauty: Discovering Your Individual Beauty, Enhancing Your Self-Esteem (Warner Books, 1993) and Make Up Your Life: Every Woman’s Guide to the Power of Makeup (HarperCollins, 2000).
An active philanthropist, Victoria’s newest charity is the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation. This charity's mission is dedicated to finding a cure for Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) Spectrum Disease.
Married to husband Bill Guthy of infomercial giant Guthy-Renker, Victoria Jackson is the mother of three children and together they make their primary residence in Los Angeles.

Jackson is the author of several books: Saving Each Other: A Mother-Daughter Love Story (Vanguard Press, 2012) Redefining Beauty: Discovering Your Individual Beauty, Enhancing Your Self-Esteem (Warner Books, 1993) and Make Up Your Life: Every Woman's Guide to the Power of Makeup (HarperCollins, 2000).
Philanthropy
Together with her husband, Jackson runs the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation. The Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation is dedicated to funding research to further understand the pathophysiology and biochemistry of Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disease. Jackson and her husband started the foundation after the diagnosis of their daughter with the disease in June 2008. The Foundation provides opportunities to develop programs for the prevention, clinical treatment of and an eventual cure for this disease. The foundation provides an online community for those who have been diagnosed with NMO, as well as providing centralized information resources for individuals who want to learn more about the disease.
