Vichy Republican is a term that emerged on social media in 2016 in regards to the United States Presidential campaign of Donald Trump. To Trump opponents, it refers to members of the Republican Party that have chosen to support Donald Trump's candidacy. To Trump supporters, the term refers to members of the Republican Party establishment that have chosen to collaborate with President Obama and the Democrats. The term originates from Vichy France, which was the wartime location of the French government which collaborated with the Axis Powers during the Occupation of France during World War II.

To Trump opponents the term tends to refer to Republicans who support Donald Trump due to political expediency rather than genuine agreement with his beliefs or campaign. To Trump supporters, the term tends to refer to Republicans who surrender to Obama and the Democrats on important issues, and thereafter collaborate with the Democrats--similar to how the Vichy regime collaborated with Axis Powers during World War II. Vichy Republicans have been described as "collaborationists coming to terms with the occupation of their party" by Fascists, similar to the way Vichy France collaborationists came to terms with the occupation of France by Nazis. Vichy Republicans are believed by some to be harming the Republican Party similarly to the way the collaboration by the Vichy government harmed France.
