Vibrio azasii (Vibrio sp. Azasii) is a bioluminescent bacterium belonging to vibrio spp. It is a Gram-negative bacterium possessing a curved rod shape (comma shape) and moves by means of flagella. It iss somehow related to Aliivibrio fischeri. It is native to the Red Sea, and lives in symbiosis with big-fin reef squid.
