Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala is an ayurvedic pharmaceutical company situated in Thaikkattusseri, near Ollur, Thrissur city in Kerala state. It is managed by Thaikkattusseri Eledathu Thaikkattu Family, one among the Ashtavaidya families of Kerala. Vaidyaratnam runs a nursing home and an Ayurvedic Medical College apart from two ISO certified manufacturing plants in Thrissur and an R&D centre in Thaikkattussery, under the flagship of Vaidyaratnam.
History
Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala (Oushada means medicine and sala is a building or institute) was instituted in 1941 by Ashtavaidya E T Neelakandan Moose. He had won prestigious Padmasree award for his contributions to Ayurveda treatment. Vaidyaratnam Ayurvedic Nursing Home was started in the year 1955 and Ayurvedic Medical College in 1976. Under the guidance of Vaidyaratnam Nursing home, their first franchise started operating in 2011 at55/16, First Floor, 7th Avenue, Besant Nagar, Chennai. This centre offers all Authentic Kerala style Ayurvedic treatments for various ailments from common cold to Arthritis, Frozen Shoulder, Dermatology, Paediatrics etc.
