Veronika, der Lenz ist da ("Veronica, the spring is here") is a popular 1920s song by Walter Jurmann. Covered countless times, probably the best-known version is by the German sextet, the Comedian Harmonists in 1930.

Veronica, the Lenz is here, The girls sing tralala. The whole world is as bewitched, Veronika, the asparagus grows! Veronika, the world is green, Let us go into the woods. Even the Grandpapa says to Grandma: "Veronica, the Lenz is here, Veronica, Veronica, the Lenz is here! "
Whether the growth of the asparagus can be understood symbolically, is unclear, but in a verse there reads the lines:

The husband is looking bravely a connection to the young servant of the house. [...] He sends his wife away, [...]
