She said, "Shoaib sahab called me for this just like he had called me five years ago for Bol, wondering if I'd be interested in working with him, I was just happy to hear from him after so long. It's a film tackling a certain social issue [I'm] taking it up as a challenge. This is Khan second collaboration with Mansoor after her debut role in Mansoor's film Bol in 2011. She said "Well, I think the whole journey now would be very very different. My part in Bol was small and also my first ever acting experience. I was nervous but I was carefree, enjoying my time on set with the kids who played my brother and sisters. When Shoaib Sb called me after five years this time and told me the story, I knew I’d be challenged as an actor."
