The Vermont gubernatorial election of 1906 took place on September 4, 1906. Incumbent Republican Charles J. Bell, per the "Mountain Rule", did not run for re-election to a second term as Governor of Vermont. Republican candidate Fletcher D. Proctor defeated Independent/Democratic candidate Percival W. Clement to succeed him.
