Verkhnemamonsky District

Verkhnemamonsky District (Russian: Верхнемамо́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,345 square kilometers (519 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Verkhny Mamon. Population: 21,659 (2010 Census); 23,086 (2002 Census); 22,788 (1989 Census). The population of Verkhny Mamon accounts for 39.5% of the district's total population.
