Veerpur is a village of Etawah district, Uttar Pradesh ,located about a km away from Aheripur. The village is famous for Ramleela played here.

The village is also famous for late Pt. Shri Gauri Shankar Dwivedi, who was a headmaster in the Middle School. Much of the literacy in the village is attributed to him. He was also known for planting trees, and was the promoter of green revolution in the village.Ram Dwivedi and Ras Dwivedi are famous residents of this village.Ram Dwivedi is a medical student and motivational speaker,his younger brother Ras Dwivedi is an engineering graduate from IIT Kanpur.
