Veerabaahu

Veerabaahu is the commander-in-chief of Lord Muruga's Army, according to Hindu mythology. Lord Muruga was born from the third eye of God shiva. To assist him from the ornaments of Goddess shakthi nine commanders were born. Among the nine commanders Veerabaahu is the supermost commander and the commander-in-chief of Lord Muruga's army.

Veerabaahu role in war

Veerabahu played a major role acting as an envoy on a diplomatic mission between Lord Muruga and demon king soorapadman. Veerabaahu was sent as an envoy by Lord Muruga to Soorapadman palace to avoid war. But all the efforts made by God Muruga to avoid war became futile due to the arrogance of soorapadman. Soorapadman insulted Veerabaahu and war became unavoidable. Veerabaahu played a major role in the battles between Lord Muruga's army and Sinhamuga, Tarakasuran, Ajamuki armies.
