Vani Vidyalaya Senior Secondary & Junior College is a CBSE school run by Meenakshi Ammal Trust located in West K. K. Nagar, Chennai.

The Meenakshi Ammal Trust came into existence in the eventful year of 1983 where a public charitable and educational trust was formed by a pioneer of development, Mrs. Meenakshi Ammal. The motive behind formation of this esteemed trust was to realize the potential within the poor students who could not make it to higher levels of study due to insufficient funds for education. The Trust from the date of its formation has contributed to many fields of education and development such as the Dental and Paramedical Institutions, various hospitals, libraries, etc.Availability of benefits by the trust is mainly visualized in form of providing the students with scholarships and awards to the students along with grants and aids for the purpose of contributing to the field of education.

Added to it, efforts for under privileged children and handicapped students are also made which believes that each person has a hidden potential within himself.The day of 14th June 2004, saw the establishment of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research Trust which at the present date represents as of the most prestigious Deemed University where one of the most profound lecturers and reputed teaching is provided to the upcoming pioneers of the nation. At the present date, Meenakshi University is upon a march which aims at achieving a status of national solution which can provide education to millions of Indians who belong to separate class and educate them under the same roof in order to bring back the united forces of the nation which can boost up the long awaited development which the country has been demanding since the eve of independence.

Vani Vidyalaya aims at educating the students with utmost respect and comfort so that they can pursue a bright and eventful career ahead in life and meet the challenges of the ever changing dynamic world.

To build up confidence and a sense of leadership responsibility among the students to develop a better perception in future. To focus upon building up personality among each and every candidate.

Responsibility, honesty, courage, loyalty, tolerance and respect for others are the stepping stones.The merit of understanding the students,innovating new mechanisms to make this change into a reality.

Facilities:

A good atmosphere is always important considering the growth and development of the students therefore the school is established with spacious and airy surroundings and an exceptional infrastructure.

Labs are an essential dimension of a school. Therefore separate labs are available for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer science. Lab activities for Maths & Spoken English classes enrich our curriculum.

Transportation facility is provided to the students for the purpose of safety & comfort from the school to home and vice versa.

For holistic growth of young pupils, a play ground is must. A large play area with latest equipment is available for them to learn and grow.

The joy of learning is indispensable in education, as breathing is in running. Thus the school incorporates many co-scholastic activities within the curriculum.

Physical health and wellness are important keys to a healthy body; it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activities. Physical education classes are accorded to the students as per CBSE Norms.
