Vandalism is an Australian electro house music group. It comprises DJ Andy Van Dorsselaer (previous member of Madison Avenue) and vocalist/songwriter Cassie Van Dorsselaer.

Australian Electro/Dance outfit Vandalism is composed of Duo Andy Van on decks and vocalist Cassie Van. With the increasing demand for their distinctive live show, they have been touring across the globe with their ‘in-yer-face’ performances.

They have completed over a dozen international tours in the last 3 years, which included gigs at clubs & festivals in London, USA, Canada, Ibiza, Greece, Brazil, Zurich, Sweden, Moscow, Korea, Poland, Ireland & New Zealand (to name a few!). They’ve performed alongside well known international DJs including Skrillex, Avicii, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Eric Morillo, Prodigy, MSTRKRFT, and Boys Noize.

To date Vandalism have released a catalogue of singles, including She Got It, Rockin, Throw Your Hands Up, Vegas, Insane, Smash Disco, Never Say Never, Hablando, Bucci Bag. Vandalism have provided remixes for dance releases including Creeps, Rise Up, Heater, Toca’s Miracle, Blue Monday, Getting Away With It (All Messed Up), Get Shaky, Rolex Sweep, Right In The Night, I Believe, What’s It Gonna Be, He Not In, Girls & Boys, Back Once Again & Automatic Machine.

Vandalism began in 2004 as a partnership between producers Andy Van & Kam Denny, starting off remixing other producers’ works (most notably “Creeps” by The Freaks) before releasing their own original productions. Cassie joined the group as the lead vocalist and lyricist in 2005. In April 2009 Kam Denny parted ways with the group and is no longer a part of Vandalism.

Andy Van is a prominent Australian producer with over two decades experience in the dance music industry as a producer and DJ. He has performed under different monikers at events and festivals locally including Summadayze, Gatecrasher, Stereosonic, One Love, Platinum, HQ, Family, Kink, and internationally at Love Parade (UK), Creamfields, Manumission, Space, Bora Bora, (Ibiza), Ministry (UK). Vandalism have toured internationally to Miami, LA, London, Ibiza, Sweden, Greece, Holland, Korea & Japan, and supported DJs including Avicii, Pete Tong, Eric Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Armand Van Helden, Fatboy Slim, Angello & Ingrosso, Sasha & John Digweed.

Andy has performed on radio hosting shows on Britain’s Radio 1 (alongside Danny Rampling), Australia’s Austereo Network (Loaded Dance, 3 years) and Kiss FM (Melbourne). Director & Head of A&R at Australian dance music label Vicious Recordings. Notable signings include Avicii, Dirty South, The Potbelleez, Angger Dimas, Franz Novotny, Digital Lab.

Previous acts include Blackout, Astral Project and Madison Avenue who achieved chart success with their singles “Don’t Call Me Baby” (#5 ARIA, #1 UK) and “Who The Hell Are You” (#1 ARIA).

Cassie Van is Vandalism's vocalist & lyricist.

Her first band was ‘Girl Mansion’, an all girl covers band performing a catalogue of 80’s cover songs. Cassie previously worked as a professional dancer performing with Kylie Minogue, Madison Avenue, Peter Andre, and Meatloaf. As a back up dancer for electronic house music duo Madison Avenue Cassie met Andy Van and the Vandalism partnership began shortly after the breakup of Madison Avenue.

Cassie has provided vocals on Vandalism singles ‘Never say Never,’ ‘She Got It’, ‘Smash Disco’, ‘Twisted’, 'Throw Your hands Up', ‘Rockin,’ 'Vegas' & ‘Coming Alive’.

She has also hosted 'SLAM' on Channel 10, a behind the scenes look at NBL Basketballers.
