Van Richter Records is an artist development record label which specializes in industrial music. The label represents a wide spectrum of bands in the industrial music subgenres including aggro-industrial, electro, EBM, dark wave, noise, synthpop and ambient. Van Richter was founded in 1993 in San Diego, California by longtime loyal fan of industrial music Paul Abramson. Currently the label is self-distributed, but it has been previously distributed by Fontana Distribution (a Universal Music company), Navarre Corporation, and Ryko Distribution Partners.
