Vaibhav Kaul (born 1991) is a Himalayan photographer, painter, geographer and environmental scholar. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Royal Asiatic Society, an alumnus of the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford, and a researcher at the University of Sheffield. He has investigated socio-environmental change in the high-mountain regions of Lahaul, Garhwal, Kumaon and Sikkim in India. His landscape art, geophotography and ethnographic photography collections have been exhibited and published by such platforms as India International Centre, India Habitat Centre, People's Archive of Rural India, The Sunday Guardian, London Photo Festival, and American Geophysical Union Blogosphere. He collaborated with the film director Ross Harrison to make Facing the Mountain, a short documentary about faith, resilience and change in the Himalayas.
