Utetheisa aegrotum is a moth in the family Erebidae. It was described by Swinhoe in 1892. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland and New South Wales.

The wingspan is about 30 mm. The forewings are brown with white spots and a white bar. There is a large white basal patch on the hindwings.
