The University District Museum Without Walls is a virtual museum in Seattle, Washington's University District devoted to the history of that neighborhood. Described as an "ongoing cultural program that allows for new opportunities for the arts, history, and education," it includes or is planning multimedia exhibitions, billboards, trading cards, newly commissioned music, sculpture, and walking tours. The first exhibit, "Open to Question: Activism in Seattle's University District," opened in April 2009, and many of the project's elements referenced the 1909 Alaska–Yukon–Pacific Exposition, which shaped the University of Washington campus and surrounding neighborhood and which celebrated its centenary in 2009.
