The United States men's national lacrosse team is one of the best national lacrosse teams in the world based on its championships and selection process. The team has won nine of twelve World Lacrosse Championships, the most recent being 2010. The Canada national team beat the US national team in 1978, 2006, and 2014

The US team usually consists of professional lacrosse players who play in Major League Lacrosse and/or the National Lacrosse League. Many of the team members are also on the boxlacrosse national team.
2014 team
US Lacrosse finalized its 23-man roster on June 30, 2014 by cutting eight players that were on the roster for the Team USA versus MLL All Star game on June 216, 2014.
Other Attackmen
Steele Stanwick (UVA '11, won NCAA championship in '11, 1st team All-American in '11, won Tewaaraton in '11) was on the 31-man roster for the Team USA versus MLL All-Star game, but did not make the final roster. He was selected as an alternate for the team.
