The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center is a cancer center located in Madison, Wisconsin. A part of the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, it has been designated a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute. The center conducts research, provides treatment, and offers training. Originally named the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center, it was renamed in 2006 for Paul P. Carbone, the long-time director of the facility. The center employs 2,300 and treats 20,000 patients per year.
