UNSW Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is a constituent body of the University of New South Wales, Australia. Initially established as the Faculty of Arts in 1960 under founding Dean, Professor Morven Brown, it was renamed the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in 1990.

It comprises five schools:

  • School of Education
  • School of the Arts and Media
  • School of Humanities & Languages
  • School of Social Sciences
  • At the university's Kensington campus, the faculty occupies the Morven Brown and Robert Webster buildings, as well as parts of the John Goodsell Building.
