The UCD Law Review is an annual law journal edited by students of University College Dublin's Sutherland School of Law. The journal was established in 2001 by former UCD Law Society Auditor, Niall Buckley. The University College Dublin Law Review, established in 2001, is Ireland’s leading student-run law journal. The Review is published on an annual basis, and features articles on a variety of legal topics. The objective of the journal is to publish articles by undergraduate and postgraduate students, along with practitioners, from within Ireland, and abroad. The latest volume of the Review is launched every Autumn by a prominent member of the legal community.

The Review is managed by the Editor-in-Chief and members of the Editorial Board, which consists of undergraduate and postgraduate law students. The Academic Advisors, Dr. Kevin Costello, Dr. Noel McGrath, as well as Dr. Niamh Howlin, provide additional guidance. This is a unique platform for promoting academic debate and commentary.

The title sponsers of the Review are Arthur Cox Solicitors. A&L Goodbody Solicitors sponsor the Most Outstanding Article Prize worth €500.

Previous editions of the UCD Law Review are available from the Editor. Alternatively, the Review can be accessed via HeinOnline.

General queries should be directed to the Editor-in-Chief, who can be contacted at [email protected]

Submissions are now welcome for Volume 17. The deadline for submissions is 24 March 2017.
