Tweet Dreams is a 1959 Looney Tunes cartoon directed by Friz Freleng, written by Warren Foster and Freleng and starting Tweety and Sylvester.
Using Sylvester visiting a psychiatrist as a framing device, segments from previous 1950s shorts including Gift Wrapped (1952), A Street Cat Named Sylvester (1953), Sandy Claws (1954), Tweetys Circus (1955), and Too Hop to Handle (1956) are used as Sylvester narrates his history of failed attempts at catching prey.
Warners' "economy cartoon," repackaging footage from earlier Tweety and Sylvester chases with new footage. In this one, Sylvester tells a psychiatrist of his frustration at not being able to catch Tweety, his repeated failures illustrated through past cartoons featuring the canary and puddy tat.
