The tween first appeared in White Dwarf #8 (August 1978). The tween appeared in the original first edition Fiend Folio (1981).
The tween appeared in second edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons in the Monstrous Compendium Fiend Folio Appendix (1992). The tween appeared for the Planescape setting in the Guide to the Ethereal Plane (1998).
Description
A tween is an invisible, incorporeal creature that forms a symbiotic relationship with another creature.
