Turovec is a village and municipality (obec) in Tábor District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 13.24 square kilometres (5.11 sq mi), and has a population of 213 (as at 3 July 2006).
Turovec lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Tábor, 51 km (32 mi) north-east of České Budějovice, and 81 km (50 mi) south of Prague.
