Turners Hill SSSI

Turners Hill is a Site of Special Scientific Interest in Mid Sussex in the county of West Sussex, England. It is situated in the parish of Turners Hill.

As a disused quarry, it is of geological interest. The surrounding rock is of Ardingly sandstone, the workings of the quarry has left vertical and horizontal sections to give a three-dimensional snapshot of the paleoenvironment. The site is currently in an unfavourable condition due to vegetation growth.
