Turkmenistan–Uzbekistan relations

Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan relations refers to the relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Uzbekistan has an embassy in Ashgabat. Turkmenistan has an embassy in Tashkent. Both countries were previously republics of the Soviet Union as Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic and Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.
