The name Nicole has been used for three tropical cyclones and one subtropical cyclone in the Atlantic Ocean.
Hurricane Nicole (1998) - a late season storm which was only briefly a hurricane west of the Azores and never approached land. Named strongest and most intense December storm.
Subtropical Storm Nicole (2004) - formed from a low-pressure area near Bermuda and headed towards Nova Scotia. Persisted less than 2 days.
Tropical Storm Nicole (2010) - weak tropical storm that affected Cuba and brought heavy flooding to Jamaica as a tropical system. Contributed to the formation of a large coastal storm up the US East Coast after being absorbed by an extra-tropical low.
Hurricane Nicole (2016) - a long-lived Category 4 hurricane that became one of the strongest hurricanes to ever strike Bermuda.
