The name Hilda has been used for two tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean, seven in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, one in the Western Pacific Ocean, one in the Southwest Indian Ocean and one in the Southwest Pacific Ocean. It was used in the Atlantic before the formal naming system was instituted. It was retired in the Atlantic due to the destruction in 1964, but remains on the Eastern Pacific list.
