Betsy was used for three tropical cyclone in the Atlantic:

  • Hurricane Betsy (1956), severe crop damage as well as thousands of homes damaged in Guadeloupe and Puerto Rico
  • Hurricane Betsy (1961), one of three active hurricanes in the Atlantic (along with Carla and Debbie) from September 7 to September 11; did not make landfall
