Woori Banks Park Ji hyun leads the group in points, steals and contributions at the Park Shinjae Cup

After leading Asan Woori Bank to the Women's Professional Basketball League title last season, 한국야동 Park Ji-hyun has continued her stellar play in the 2023 Park Shinjah Cup international tournament.

The Korea Women's Basketball League (WKBL) has revealed the standout performers in the group stage of the Park Shinjah Cup, which is currently underway at Cheongju Gymnasium.

Park Ji-hyun, who led Woori Bank to first place in Group A, led the team in scoring with an average of 26.25 points per game and was the top overall contributor in the group.

Park also tied for first in steals (3.25) with Kim Dan-bi (Woori Bank).

In blocked shots, Park Ji-soo (KB) and Kim Dan-bi tied for the lead with 2.5 per game.

Mai Yamamoto (Toyota) topped the category with five three-pointers per game, while Shiori Yasuma (Toyota) was first in assists with a 10.25 average.

The best-of-four tournament begins on Sunday with the Korea-Japan game.

At 11 a.m., Group A's No. 1 Woori Bank will face Group B's No. 2 Eneos, and at 2 p.m., Group B's No. 1 KB will take on Group A's No. 2 Toyota.

The tournament finals between the winners of the quarterfinals will be held at 4:30 p.m. 19가이드03 on April 3.
