The playoffs, which have been changed to the best-of-five series starting this season, will begin on March 9 at Cheongju Gymnasium with the first match between Kookmin Bank, the first place in the regular league, and Hana One Q, the fourth place. The next day, on March 10, the first match between Woori Bank, the second place in the regular league, and Samsung Life, the third place, will be held at Yi Sun-shin Gymnasium in Asan.
The championship game will also be held in the best-of-five series, and will run from March 24 to April 1. Among the teams that advanced to the championship game, Games 1, 2, and 5 will be held at the home stadium of the top team in the regular league (if games 5 are necessary), and Games 3 and 4 will be held at the home stadium of the bottom team in the regular league (if games 4 are necessary).
Meanwhile, the postseason media day will be held at Stanford Hotel Korea, located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, from 2 p.m. on March 5, with coaches of four teams advancing to the playoffs and two representatives from each team.
