Tottenham Hotspur is aiming for Joshua Zirkjay (22, Bologna).

Citing Italian Corriere dello Sport, the British newspaper TBR Football reported on Tuesday  that "Tottenham under Coach Enze Postecoglou is one of the teams that wants Zirkjay. Tottenham, Arsenal, and Manchester United all have strong interest in Zirkjay. AC Milan is also reportedly keeping an eye on him."

Zirkje is a tall striker with Dutch nationality who weighs 193cm-90kg. He grew up with Munich Youth and left for Parma Calcio and Anderlecht on loan before moving to Bologna for 8.5 million euros (about 12.5 billion won) in the summer of 2022. Notably, he showed remarkable performance with 18 goals and 13 assists in 47 matches during his time with Anderlecht.

The first season at Bologna was disappointing with two goals and two assists, but this season left a strong impression. With 10 goals and four assists in 27 Serie A matches in Italy and one goal and two assists in three Copa Italy matches, the Italian team has produced a total of 11 goals and six assists in 30 matches. He has many advantages. He possesses excellent linkage skills, free use of both feet, good goal determination, and sincere participation in defense. Despite his young age, he has endless potential for growth.

Tottenham has been alternating between Son Heung-min and Hishalisson since Harry Kane left. Except for the original winger Son Heung-min, there are Hishalisson and Alejo Bellis, who were born in 2003 and are still too young. Hishalisson has recovered to some extent with 11 goals and three assists, but has the disadvantage of having severe ups and downs.

Tottenham need a Kane replacement from a long-term perspective anyway, keeping an eye on young striker resource Zirkjay.  스포츠토토

The media predicted that Bologna would want 60 million euros (about 87 billion won). To win the competition, he has no choice but to pay a high transfer fee.
