The German version of "Sky Sports," Florian Flettenberg, who is familiar with the news of Bayern Munich, said, "Bayern Munich is considering recruiting Domíaz." Britain's "The Sun" reported the news on the 21st, citing Pletteberk.

And he added, "Japan's national team, Tomiyasu, is scheduled to play in the Asian Cup in January next year, so the transfer in January is understood to be unrealistic."

Domíaz, who made his professional debut in the J2 League, went through Belgium and Italy before nestling in Arsenal in August 2021. There is a four-year contract term and one-year extension option.

In his first season, he was recognized for his potential in the English Premier League (EPL) with 21 appearances (20 starts and one substitute). However, last season, he only started six games in the EPL due to sluggishness and knee injuries.

Tomiyasu played in 16 matches in the EPL and European Champions League this season and scored his debut goal last month. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is using Tomiyas as a center back as well as a fullback on both sides.

If Tomiyas moves to Bayern Munich, he will be at the defensive line with Kim Min-jae (27), who is at the center of the controversy over the abuse. Tomiyasu played in 36 international A matches for Japan.

However, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will allow the transfer of Tomiyasu. Arsenal fans are expressing negative reactions, saying, "It's a very interesting proposal, but Arsenal needs Domiyas" and "Domiyas is not for sale."
