Real announced on the club's official channel on the 1st (Korea Standard Time) that it has renewed its contract with Vinicius until June 2027. According to Fabrizio Romano, an expert in the transfer market, the amount of the "buy-out clause" that can directly proceed with negotiations with players regardless of the club's intention is 1 billion euros (about 1.4344 trillion won).

Vinicius, who left Flamengo in Brazil in 2018 and wore a Real uniform, played in 235 official matches and scored 63 goals to establish himself as Real's present and future.

Vinicius won nine trophies, including Spain's Primera Liga and the UEFA Champions League (UCL), as a member of Real, and signed the contract this time in recognition of his ability.

Vinicius said through the club: "I'm happy to extend my contract. It's like a dream to me. I want to spend more time here and score many goals and win several titles, he said.

It is a double celebration. Vinicius was named the winner of the Socrates Trophy at the 2023 Ballon d'Or award ceremony held in Paris, France on March 31.

The Socrates Trophy is a social contribution award given by organizers last year, and was established in honor of the soccer player Socrates, who fought to end Brazil's military dictatorship and achieve democratization.

Vinicius is a young age, born in 2000, but has a lot of influence on his country.

A black man from Brazil, he publicized the issue of racism in La Liga, where he plays through social networking services (SNS).

Since then, it has become a symbol of the movement to abolish racism in the soccer community, and the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro also enacted the Vinicius Act in July, which allowed the suspension of racist games.

In addition, Vinicius has invested in educational infrastructure, such as building schools in areas where income levels are low in Brazil, and won the Socrates Trophy in recognition of his contribution.
