Tottenham should have gotten more for Harry Kane.

Bayern Munich defeated Darmstadt 8-0 in the ninth round of the 2023-24 German Bundesliga at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany on Sunday at 10:30 p.m. ET. With the win, their third straight, Bayern Munich moved into first place with seven wins and two draws (23 points).

The game got off to a difficult start for Munich as Joshua Kimmich was sent off just four minutes into the match. Munich went down to 10 men and capitalized on their opponent's dismissal. It was here that Kane began to shine. In the 41st minute, Kane drew Darmstadt's second booking for a sharp penetration.

With Munich outnumbered, Kane was a one-man show. Six minutes into the second half, Kane took the lead with an exquisite diving header off a cross from Nusair Mazrouei. Kane's goal was quickly followed by a goal from Leroy Sane as Munich began to take control of the game. 온라인카지노

Kane added an assist in the 15th minute of the second half after linking up well with Jamal Moussaala on a free kick. The best play of the game came in the 24th minute, with Munich up 4-0. Kane picked up the ball behind the center circle and attempted an ultra-long-range shot with the goalkeeper out. The ball sailed just over the keeper's height and found the back of the net.

Kane added another goal in the 43rd minute of the second half to seal the 8-0 victory. Kane finished with three goals and an assist.

"Kane has already scored 12 goals in his first nine Bundesliga games," said Germany's Sport1 after the game. No other player in Bundesliga history has achieved this feat. Kane has also achieved 10 goals and five assists in the league for the first time in Europe's top five leagues," highlighting Kane's incredible record.

Earlier this season, it looked like Stuttgart's Serge Giroud was going to take a comfortable lead in the top scorer's race thanks to an insane goal-scoring streak. But Kane's steady stream of goals has narrowed the gap to just two goals. He's second in goals alone. Kane is first in attacking points and assists. Kane has been the best signing in Europe this season, even beyond the Bundesliga.

At this point, signing Kane seems like a bargain. According to Bayern Munich chairman Herbert Heynckes, the club's investment in Kane is no more than 100 million euros ($142.8 billion). The €100 million mark is only exceeded if Munich fulfills a bonus clause.

When Munich said they would spend around €100 million on a world-class striker born in 1993 with one year left on his contract, some thought it was an overpayment. But Kane has proven himself, and it looks like Tottenham gave him away too cheaply.
