The coaching staff for the 2024 season has been appointed

Daejeon Hana Citizen has completed the selection of coaching staff for the 2024 season by appointing goalkeeper coach Kwon Chan-soo and coach Shin Soo-jin.

Coach Kwon Chan-soo will return to Daejeon for the first time in three years after 2021. Coach Kwon Chan-soo has played for Seongnam Ilhwa (current Seongnam FC) and Incheon United, and started as a goalkeeper coach at Yeongsaeng High School in 2011, and served as goalkeeper coach for the women's soccer team (2012), Seongnam Ilhwa (2013), Daegu FC (2014), Ulsan Hyundai (2015-2017), Incheon United (2017-2018), Daejeon Citizen (2019), Daejeon Hana Citizen (2021), Daejeon Hana Citizen (2021), Cheonan City FC (2023) and Gangwon FC (2023). He has a lot of experience going through various teams in the WK League and the K League, including vocational soccer. Coach Lee Min-sung also led the team in Ulsan in 2015 and Daejeon in 2021.

Coach Shin Soo-jin played for Busan I'Park and Ulsan Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and started his leadership career as a senior coach at Segyeong High School in 2011. Since then, he has contributed to winning the university division in the 2013 National Sports Festival, the 2014 Spring College Federation, and the 2014 U-League title.

Coach Shin Soo-jin, who moved to Cheongju University as a senior coach in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019, won the U-League title in 2015, 2016, 2018, and especially in 2018, helping Cheongju University win the 54th Spring University Football Federation, the first national tournament ever.

Coach Kwon Chan-soo said, "As we are challenging with coach Lee Min-sung in Daejeon again, we will do our best to help our Daejeon achieve higher goals by melting our experience as a player into the team."

Coach Shin Soo-jin said, "We will do our best to support the 2024 season to make it the best year in cooperation with coach Lee Min-sung and other coaching staff. We will also make sure that Daejeon can be reborn as a stronger one-team through smooth communication between players and coaching staff."

Daejeon has thus completed the formation of its 2024 team coaches. With head coach Lee Min-seong at the center, senior coach Chung Kwang-seok, coach Bae Hyo-seong, GK coach Kwon Chan-soo, coach Shin Soo-jin, and physical coach Park Geun-young will lead the team.

Daejeon, which has completed the selection of its coaches, will leave for its second off-season training in Hanoi, Vietnam, on the 10th and begin preparing for the season in earnest.
