Spa Casino is targeted for November 2003, and will replace the existing Spa Casino operation.

The new Spa Resort Casino will be located immediately to the northeast and diagonally across from the existing property and will encompass a full city block bordered by Amado Rd. on the north, Calle El Segundo on the east, Andreas Rd. on the south and Calle Encillia on the west. The site is approximately one-fourth mile from the Palm Springs Convention Center and Indian Canyon Dr.

Chairman Milanovich said, "This new Spa Resort Casino, across from the existing 240-room hotel and world-famous Spa, will mark the beginning of what we anticipate to be a premier centerpiece in downtown Palm Springs, located on the same site where the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians first habitated 'Se-Khi' (boiling waters), the hot mineral springs that gave our city its name."

The new Spa Resort Casino will feature three restaurants including a 300-seat buffet, an elegant but casual restaurant with exterior dining terraces and a sports bar serving light meals and beverage in a sports-themed environment. It will also include a 150-seat entertainment lounge.

Players will enjoy their favorite games including over 1,000 of the latest slots and video poker machines and a variety of table games. The elegant Salon Prive, a high-limit room, is expected to attract those slot and table players who enjoy playing in a private gaming area.

The casino's architects, Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo, and designers, Dougall Designs, are both world-class firms with impressive client lists in the United States and abroad. Both the exterior and interior will project a style of casual elegance. Set amid lush landscaping and trelliswork, the property's exterior walls will be cream-colored textured stucco with white trim, while the roof, with its unique configuration of rounded turrets, will utilize concrete tiles in various shades of blue. The plush, spacious interior will be appointed with rich marble and woods throughout.  파워볼실시간

Parking will be ample at the new casino. Regular and handicapped parking totals 1,303 spaces. This includes additional parking, conveniently located across Amado Road, complete with luxury shuttle service that will transport guests to and from the casino.

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has a longstanding tradition of major activity and visibility in the Coachella Valley. Moreover, the Tribe set a historic precedent by becoming the first Native American group to own and operate two gaming facilities in California when in April 2001, it opened its second gaming property, the Agua Caliente Casino, in nearby Rancho Mirage.

"All of our members strongly believe in giving back to our community as part of our long-standing tradition to be good neighbors and share our blessings with everyone fortunate to call this area home," Chairman Milanovich added. "This casino is yet another indication of our firm commitment to the continued progress of gaming, tourism and economic growth in our Southern California area."

Over the past six years, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has donated more than $8 million in contributions to a long list of groups with special needs including local community, civic and non-profit organizations.
