Toronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer has been excluded from the starting list for two consecutive games. There was a reason.

Springer was excluded from the starting list for the away game against the Cincinnati Reds at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, on the 20th . Two consecutive absences following the previous day's game.

Toronto coach John Schneider said Springer injured his left neck during a home game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Springer hit a grounder to third base in the bottom of the third inning of the home game against Philadelphia on the 17th and sprinted to first base to prevent double play. However, he injured his ankle while stepping on the base in the process.

Schneider said, "I'm hoping it's about to hit hard. My condition has improved a lot today. "I hope I can play as a pinch hitter," he explained.

Toronto announced the starting lineup of Upper Merrifield left fielder, Bo Bissett shortstop, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. first baseman, Matt Chapman third baseman, Davis Schneider nominated hitter, Alejandro Kirk catcher, Cavan Vizio right fielder, Santiago Espinal second baseman and Dalton Basho center fielder.

Paul Deyong was transferred as Bo Bissett returned.

As for Deyong, Schneider said, "I thought other players such as Santiago Espinal and Davis Schneider could take over Deyong's role with Bo Bissett back.On top of that, the attack power did not come out as much as we wanted, he said, explaining the background.

Regarding Alec Manoa, who was demoted to Triple-A, he explained, "The schedule for the mound has not been decided yet."

Manoa was relegated to Triple-A on paper, but is still in Toronto, according to Schneider. "We are correcting physical timing regarding factors such as delivery," he said, adding that he is correcting the pitch.  토토사이트

When asked if it was a shortened situation when he was demoted to Rookie Level earlier, Schneider replied, "Yes."
