It was just one shot. Before that, Tottenham hadn't had a shot on target, and they didn't have one after. Son Heung-min didn't even get a shot off for 65 minutes.

But when the chance came, he didn't miss it. Heung-min scored the winning goal with a crazy finish.

Tottenham Hotspur won 2-1 away to Crystal Palace in the 10th round of the 2023-2024 English Premier League (EPL) at Selhurst Park in London, England, at 4 a.m. ET on Nov. 28. Son started and played the full game, scoring one goal.

In the eighth minute of the second half, Tottenham took the lead after a throw-in on the right, Pedro Foro saw Pape Sarr running into the right half-space and played a forward pass to James Maddison, who was right next to him. Maddison sent a right-footed shot-cum-cross into the center of the box that Palace captain Joel Ward, who was trying to clear the ball, scored an own goal to give Spurs the lead.

In the 21st minute of the second half, after a clever ball from Maddison on the left, Johnson played a pass to Brennan Johnson, who crossed it back to Son Heung-min in the box, who slotted it home with his left foot to make it 2-0. Four minutes into second-half stoppage time, Jordan Ayew pulled one back with a left-footed shot from a chance created by a defensive error following a failed clearance by Tottenham right-back Pedro Foro, but Spurs held on for a 2-1 win. 먹튀검증

Until the 21st minute of the second half, Son hadn't had a single shot on target. Spurs had a lot of possession but played inefficient soccer, and Palace were the more threatening team. Spurs were fortunate to take the lead through an own goal, but the anxiety was still there.

Son Heung-min was having a day of it, contributing with his stoic defensive work but failing to create chances in attack. He did, however, make the most of the one chance that did come his way, converting Spurs' only shot on goal of the game.

According to the EPL's official website, Son had faced 28 shots in 10 games leading up to this match, creating eight goals from 14 shots on target.

That's one goal every three shots, which is more efficient than Elling Holland (Manchester City), who has one goal every 3.8 shots, and Salah, who has one goal every 3.3 shots. Creating half of his shots on goal out of 28 shots is an indication of how efficient Son is at creating goals.
