There was a dizzying situation in which a player suddenly collapsed on the ground during a Serie A match in Italy. The spectators, who were enthusiastically cheering, were instantly silent at the announcer's guidance that they could not hear the heart sound of the fallen player, praying for the player's recovery.

AS Roma defender Evan Ndica (25) suddenly collapsed on the ground complaining of chest pain at around 27th minute in the second half of the Serie A away match on Saturday. As Ndica was losing consciousness, the referee urgently raised his hand and called AS Roma medical staff. Medical staff rushed to the scene but the sound of Ndica's heart and pulse could not be confirmed through the spectators' cheering and shouting. The stadium immediately became silent as the announcer promptly informed him, "I can't hear your heartbeats. Please be quiet." There was silence for nearly 30 seconds in the stadium.

Later, as Ndika was carried off on a stretcher, applause for his recovery came out hot. Ndika was immediately rushed to a hospital in Udinese on a stretcher.

The match, which was being held 1-1 after referee discussions, has been suspended. The match, which was tense with Udinese Roberto Pereira scoring the first goal and AS Roma Romelo Lukaku scoring the equalizer, will be re-scheduled soon.

Fortunately, Ndica seems to have regained consciousness by the time he left Dacia Arena. AS Roma posted a photo of Ndica who returned to consciousness from the hospital on its official social media, saying, "I feel better. My teammates came to visit me. I will conduct an examination at the hospital in the future and observe his progress."

Udinese general manager Federico Balcharredi thanked his fans for showing high sense of citizenship after the game. "I could see how amazing our fans are. They played a very important role at that moment," he said.

Ndika underwent an electrocardiogram, but no signs of a heart attack were found, Sky Sports Italia reported.  토토사이트

Ndica, a former Ivory Coast international, moved to AS Roma on a free transfer from Frankfurt in 2023 and played in 19 games this season.
