The Doosan Bears, who are in their second season of the "Lee Seung-yeop system," won five consecutive games in a professional baseball exhibition game.

Doosan defeated the KIA Tigers 5-4 in a professional baseball home game in the 2024 season at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 15th to win all five exhibition games.

Doosan starter Choi Won-joon blocked KIA's lineup with four hits and one run without a walk.

With Yang Seok-hwan's sacrifice fly in the first inning and Huh Kyung-min's two-run double in the third inning, Doosan's 3-0 lead was hit by KIA's fourth batter Na Sung-bum in the top of the fourth inning. Na scooped up Choi Won-joon's curveball to blast a 130-meter home run that flew well over the fence. It was the first exhibition game.

KIA turned the game around 4-3 thanks to Socrates Brito's superior three-run home run in the top of the sixth inning, but after Jang Seung-hyun hit a timely hit in the bottom of the seventh inning, Jeon Min-jae hit a one-run home run to the left.

Doosan reported its second save in the exhibition game with Lee Young-ha's clean handling of the first inning in the eighth inning and closer candidate Kim Taek-yeon turned three batters into a fumble in the ninth inning.  토토사이트 순위

Doosan, which was newly taken the helm by Lee Seung-yeop last year, finished the postseason in fifth place in the regular season, but lost 7-11 to the NC Dinos in the first round of the wild card (WC) decision, ending the fall baseball early. Doosan, which finished the season unfortunately due to defense errors and bullpen collapses, posted an apology on social media, saying, "We didn't meet the expectations of our fans, and we lacked a lot," vowing, "We will show the potential of Miracle Doosan next year."

In KIA, fastball left-hander bullpen Kwak Do-kyu, who blocked 1 1/3 innings with two strikeouts and no runs, and right-hander Yoon Joong-hyun, who handled 1 2/3 innings with two strikeouts and no runs, stood out.

In Daegu, the Samsung Lions defeated the Lotte Giants 3-2, securing a three-game losing streak. Samsung, which was losing 0-2 due to Ko Seung-min in the first inning and Yoon Dong-hee in the third inning, turned the tables in the bottom of the fifth inning with Kim Young-woong's superior three-run home run with runners on the first and second bases with no outs. Lotte starter Na Kyun-an threw well, but collapsed with one home run, leaving a loser.

The defending champion LG Twins had 14 hits in the Changwon game, defeating NC, which had been running for four consecutive wins, 11-7. Except for Austin Dean, the fourth batter, all eight starters had hits.

In the Daejeon game, the Hanwha Eagles and the KT Wiz tied 11-11. It was the first time in an exhibition game this year. Hanwha lost all of its games by giving up five runs in the top of the ninth inning when it was leading 11-6. Mel Rojas Jr., a foreign hitter of KT who returned after four years, hit two runs in the first inning and two runs in the seventh inning in the exhibition game, increasing the number of homers in the exhibition game to three. Yonathan Peraza of the Hanwha Eagles also showed off his bat skills by hitting a three-run homer in the third inning in the right-center game.

Players from each team, who have been selected for the national team to play against the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres in the U.S. Major League Baseball (MLB) from the 17th to the 18th, will gather at a hotel in Seoul after the game.
