The genius of Shohei Ohtani (29, Los Angeles Angels), a "Ido-ryu," exploded. He presented the team with a perfect pitching and batting performance.

Ohtani started as a starting pitcher and second batter in a home game against the Chicago White Sox in the 2023 Major League Baseball (MLB) at Anaheim Angel Stadium in California on the 28th.

At bat, Ohtani scored a perfect score. With one out in the first inning, Ohtani kicked a 95-mile (152.9km) fastball by White Sox starter Michael Kopec to produce a solo home run over the right-center fence.  스포츠토토

Ohtani, who succeeded in getting on base with a walk in the third inning and a hit in the fifth inning, hit a home run again in his fourth at-bat. In the bottom of the seventh inning with one out, he hit a 88.1-mile (141.8km) splitter with a right-handed two-key throw to shoot a solo home run over the left wall.

At bat, Ohtani led the attack with three hits, two home runs, two RBIs and two walks in three at-bats.

Ohtani, who hit his 27th and 28th home runs of the season, maintained his lead in the overall home run category in the Major League. On top of that, he returned to his .300 batting average by raising his season batting average from .294 to .304.

Ohtani also shone on the mound.

In charge of 6⅓ innings, he allowed only four hits and one walk, and struck out 10 times. He also scored only one point and achieved a quality start for three consecutive games.

Ohtani, who led the Angels to a 4-2 victory, harvested his seventh win (3 losses) of the season. The ERA was lowered from 3.13 to 3.02.

Meanwhile, the Angels, who have won two consecutive games, have a season record of 44 wins and 37 losses.
