Neteller, an Internet payment processor, said it would abide by a new U.S. law to ban online gambling.

American gamblers use Neteller, one of the world's largest e-walets with 3 million customers, to transfer money to online casinos. 86% of its active customer base lives in North America.

The Isle of Man-based company did not say whether it would suspend all U.S. transactions or certain types of transactions in an ambiguous phrase.

"Various provisions of the law, including the obligations of financial transaction providers such as NETELLER, remain unclear. This uncertainty must be largely addressed when the Treasury Secretary and the Federal Reserve issue regulations that must be stipulated within 270 days."

Internet payment processors have made it clear that they will take the necessary steps to protect shareholders and investors.  릴게임

"NetELLER registered outside of the United States will comply with laws and relevant regulations as if it were subject to the jurisdiction of the law," the company said in an official statement today, "and this action is intended to ensure that the company continues to operate with the support of key commercial partners and to protect shareholders, business partners, employees and reputations."
